Sabrina Timperman, DVM
I am a native New Yorker who grew up on Long Island in a family of four girls. I grew up with an interest in animals from a young age. I attended College Of New Rochelle for the first two years after high school and was originally an art major. It was at Wagner College that I decided to fulfill my dream of becoming a veterinarian. I changed my major to biology and began preparing to apply to veterinary school. I decided to attend Louisiana State University veterinary school down in the big easy. I specialized in exotic animal medicine with a main focus in small animal medicine. I was the president of the exotics club and a co-chair of the raptor rehabilitation unit. I was a member of the ICU unit at the small animal hospital and was a member of the Equine club. I visited nursing homes with the volunteer for paws and was awarded the Association of Avian Veterinarian scholarship. I moved back to New York to be near my family and enjoy living in the city with my cats and tortoise. I am excited to be working with the Staten Island Veterinary Group and look forward to meeting you. |
